Demo update 2


The demo has been updated.

Changelog:

  • Added damage effect to enemies.
  • Added 2 new summary stats: Consumables Used, Magic Collected/Mastered.
  • Added custom map marker functionality.
  • Added jump buffer to make it easier to chain jumps.
  • Equipped items will now remain in the inventory.
  • The game will now remember the screen it was on.
  • Tweaked the appearance of in-world tutorial panels.
  • Tweaked the appearance of NEW label in the inventory.
  • Loadout ring will no longer appear if nothing is assigned.
  • Loadout menu is no longer available before acquiring first magic.
  • Bats will no longer fall straight down when killed by fireball.
  • Canceling loadout ring no longer plays a sound.
  • Improved help tooltips in save menu.
  • Improved brick block destruction particles.
  • Slightly improved map clarity.
  • Added a page to magic help notes.
  • Fixed HP bars (player, boss) glitching and not displaying value
  • Fixed some physics bugs involving slopes.
  • Fixed FP still being regenerated after dying.
  • Fixed movement hint not being centered.
  • Fixed window moving to the primary screen when changing between fullscreen and windowed.
  • Fixed shells not being kickable when holding another item.
  • Fixed character disappearing briefly when died while carrying item.

Version 0.1.2

There will be at least one more update to the current demo, which will fix the collision bugs with enemies.
